Demonstration sites
Demonstration sites aim si to compare the usual forest management done without any consideration to climate change and adaptive forest management anticipating future climate. In the frame of REINFFORCE we set up 41 sites to monitor the efficiency of adptive measures. On each site we have a control with business as usual management and adaptive management. Usually, there is also a climatic data collection linked to this sites.

Density management decreasing the number of stands and/or seedlings in the site. This practice is particularly important in the drought prone areas to reduce the water competition. DS37 DS35 DS34 DS33 DS32 DS31 DS30 DS26 DS24 DS23 DS22 DS18 DS15 DS14 DS09 DS08 DS07 DS06 X x x x
